Hi! I burnt my knuckle with hot glue on tuesday (stupid i know!).

It doesnt look like its healing, its still leaky and painful. Ive kept it clean and covered.

Does it look ok please? Or should i be doing something else?

Extra info! Im 20 weeks pregnant aswell.

My teen did this last week and it definitely looked worse before it looked better. Similar to yours in size although it was deeper than other burns I've seen. It's absolutely fine now. Watch out for any spreading redness but other than that I think yours looks normal.

Vaseline is your friend here. Pop a bit of Vaseline on it as it prevents it drying out and promotes healing.

Keep it clean and dry if you can hope it feels better soon

You could go to the pharmacy and let them have a look at it. They may be able to suggest a different dressing or advise if you need to see a doctor.
