Hi sorry if this sounds naive or senseless but I am so worried to add some context I have a chihuahua who has been with me from 8 weeks old she is nearly 4 she has always been very loving towards my family but the past couple of weeks I have noticed she will not leave my mams side always wanting to cuddle up to her licking her etc . To the point where she would rather be with my mum than me which is very unusual she has always preferred to be around me a friend mentioned this could be a sign of person being unwell . I have had a very love hate relationship with my mum for numerous years now and she has had some health struggles such as copd I have begged her to go and have a check up with the doctor but she refuses and now I'm thinking she could be Ill and refuses to be seen by a doctor so we wont know I dont know what to do as I have a younger sibling who I want my mum to be healthy for but she wont listen am I wrong to ring the doctor and voice my concerns or is it not my place sorry for the long message
