Gel Nails infection

I’m gutted that I have had to stop having my gel nails done professionally as I’ve got a fungal infection. I have got some Emtrix but wondered if anyone else has had same reaction. Call me crazy but I want to have them done again just for my week’s hol in September.

I had regular gel nails but they caused by nails to detach from the nail bed called onicholysis. Apparently it was due to an allergic reaction. I switched to acrylic with gel painted on that and have been absolutely fine since then. I think probably because the gel is not in direct contact with my nails

OP are you sure it is fungal. Most infections from gel nails are bacterial. Is the nail green coloured or yellowy?
