Hotel Recommendations on Skiathos?

Following my previous post on Greek Islands, wondering if anyone can recommend any good hotels on Skiathos? Ideally adults only but it doesn’t matter too much. We’d be aiming for B & B. Not party people but equally we’d want to be fairly close to some life! I love a really good sized pool & a swim up room would be a bonus - got upgraded to one in Majorca & it was fab!
Also, suggestions for things to do. We’d go to ( is it Skopelos?) the Mamma Mia location. I love snorkelling so would welcome good places to do that. Oh & authentic restaurants as well please. Thanks in advance folks 😊
It’s for my 60th so we can push the budget up a little but maybe not more than £4K. Somewhere that offers 10 day packages would be great. Often think a week isn’t quite long enough.
I have looked at Aegean Suites by Santikos Collection which seems to have good reviews.

Quoted just over £1K each including flights departing late May for B & B at The Aegean Suites - guessing this is quite reasonable? Flying fairly locally too which makes a big difference & not bad flight times ✈️

Oh dear - has nobody been to Skiathos? Also very impressed with the look of Panormos Beach Hotel on Skopelos

Anybody? Someone must have stayed on Skiathos/Skopelos?

I have been to Skiathos several times and will be back there later this year. I can't help with hotels as we have always stayed at more basic places, self catering. We usually go into town in the evening to eat and there are plenty of places to choose from. Not been since 2023 but we we liked Taverna Mesogia enough to eat there twice.

We would be open to s/c as well - any recommendations?
