Amazing customer service

It's easy to complain, but I just wanted to share a couple of examples of amazing customer service that I've experienced recently.

I am very deliberately naming the companies involved (and no, I don't work for them) because I think it's only fair to name and praise as well as name and shame!

Example 1: bought a (quite expensive) lamp from Wayfair that arrived missing a part. Connected to their online chat (which I normally loathe having to do) - the nice chap on the other end had the whole thing sorted in 20 minutes. The replacement was dispatched before I had even finished the chat, arrived fully functioning two days later and the defunct order is being collected from my house. Bloody astonishing.

Example 2: a bracelet that I bought from Hiho Silver a couple of years ago snapped when I was taking it off. I emailed to ask how best to get it repaired - they got back to me within an hour ro say send it back, they'll repair and return it to me at no cost.

I feel as though my faith in humanity and good customer service has been restored! What are your recent wins?

Edited to add: while I'm at it, the Bank of Scotland's online banking app is bloody amazing.

Victoria Beckham Makeup. Bought a mascara, it was awful, clumpy, unusable. Not a single quibble, they refunded me immediately.

Qettle - the boiler leaked everywhere, out of warranty too. Called them just for some advise and they sent me a new boiler, FOC next day delivery.

Cotswold Co - unpacked a pantry, doors were cracked. Replacement sent and broken pantry collected within a week.

Morrisons home delivery. They give you 10 pence for every bag you recycle. Last week in the heatwave we gave the delivery driver 12 bags and a can of lemonade. They gave me £4.70 off my shopping!!

Samsung. My Hoover was in warranty I called customer service. Spoke to a real person who within minutes had organised collection and a repair. Plus offered me £30 in vouchers for high street shops which arrived before the call ended.
Was a bit shocked by the whole experience 🤷‍♀️🤣

Apple, husbands home button wouldn’t work a few years ago. He went into store and the guy had a look and said ‘ah you know fear it’s only two weeks out if warranty…’ and handed him a new one off the shelf. They set up my last phone as I am a bit stupid at doing it. They gave me a 2m cable as a replacement as they had run out of 1m..,the two meter was better for my needs.

DFS, they kept us up to date really well with the order and our footstool had a rip in the bottom fabric as it got damaged in transit. I’ve if the feet had broken. The delivery guys put on a new foot as they had spares in the van. Then within a week a man came out and took off the ripped fabric and attached a new piece again . Lovely staff too from ordering to delivery to repair.

Bought table and chairs off Argos, 3 parts were damaged. I got in touch, their virtual assistant was hopeless but a member of staff took over and said they would post out a replacement of the 3 damage parts. No hassle, no proof needed, although I did take photographs.
