It's easy to complain, but I just wanted to share a couple of examples of amazing customer service that I've experienced recently.
I am very deliberately naming the companies involved (and no, I don't work for them) because I think it's only fair to name and praise as well as name and shame!
Example 1: bought a (quite expensive) lamp from Wayfair that arrived missing a part. Connected to their online chat (which I normally loathe having to do) - the nice chap on the other end had the whole thing sorted in 20 minutes. The replacement was dispatched before I had even finished the chat, arrived fully functioning two days later and the defunct order is being collected from my house. Bloody astonishing.
Example 2: a bracelet that I bought from Hiho Silver a couple of years ago snapped when I was taking it off. I emailed to ask how best to get it repaired - they got back to me within an hour ro say send it back, they'll repair and return it to me at no cost.
I feel as though my faith in humanity and good customer service has been restored! What are your recent wins?
Edited to add: while I'm at it, the Bank of Scotland's online banking app is bloody amazing.
