Looking for some positive stories

My DD is 10, one of 3 ( middle ) and has for this year specifically massively struggled with anxiety, whilst its something that I feel has always been with her its really ramped up the past 6 months.

From the outside looking in you will see a girl with the kindest most loving personality who dedicates alot of her time to charity work, sets up play groups within her school to help the younger children that are struggling to make friends and has been called a dream by teachers, she has a large group of friends who all love her, she has the most fantastic fashion sense.

However this year its become obvious to her teachers, her coach, and some of her friends that she is struggling

For example, she could see a man walking in the street with a rucksack and think its full of knifes and hes going to kill her.

She could have a conversation with someone and have a completely different and wild take on the conversation than what actually happened.

She thinks everyone is talking about her and when she talks they are looking at her "weird".

She cant be in any locked room like a toilet or lift.

This is a tiny amount of what shes suffering but it gives you an idea.

She has now started seeing a child psychologist and this will be weekly, when i told her this she was really happy and after meeting her for the first time is looking forward to officially starting this week.

I suppose id love to hear other stories of it helping, maybe the sort of timelines of how long it took to start to help and if anyone's children have gone into teen-hood and adult hood without much affects.
