Bad weeks at work

Does anyone else really enjoy the career and the work they do?

I assume it's still possible to have bad days/weeks as I'm having one now. I WFHed first 2 days this week and it dampened my productivity as all I want to do is wait for 5pm and log off.

I do! My career has recently taken off, I was headhunted into my dream role, fully work from home, very flexible around family life, great money - the unicorn job.

But my god does my boss get on my nerves sometimes. I’ve gotten closer to rage quitting here than I ever have in ‘worse’ roles. I also can’t really vent about it to friends because everyone thinks I should just be endlessly grateful (which I am, but I still have slow/rough weeks).

I really do love my job and most days I feel like I love it, but every so often after a bad one even I come home, tell DH that we should sell up and move into an off-grid log cabin to live off the land with some chickens and goats...

My company are nice. It's just things are piling one and I'm completely baffled by one project. (Building off an ex-colleagues old work)
