Anyone else having trouble with asda's app?

This is driving me insane. I order my shopping on asda's app and click n collect it every week. Back in May the checkout started telling me "sorry that voucher is not valid" when trying to complete my order. I was NOT using any voucher, no e-voucher, no codes, no gift cards nothing. I assumed it was a glitch, tried many things such as logging in and out, deleting and reinstalling the app, trying to check out on my browser rather than the app, removing my card details and re adding them. I then eventually rang customer service, got through to someone who couldn't understand what the hell I was talking about, wouldn't listen when I kept saying "I'm not using a voucher" so I gave up. I deleted my whole account and signed up again fresh, this worked - yay! Been back to ordering click n collects as normal for my food for about 6 weeks, gone to order this evening and it's giving me the same fucking error message again!! WHY?!

Asda is my nearest supermarket and cheaper than my 2nd closest, I haven't got the capabilities to do my food shopping in person, the home delivery option sucks as it comes from the warehouse and their dates on products are awful whereas click n collect comes from within that specific store and they're much better at giving decently dated products in the order.

Has anyone else had this problem or does Asda just hate me now??

Yes. I updated my online order before the deadline but it didn’t save and reverted to my original order. The delivery guy said they have just updated their website and systems so it’s probably to do with that.

Ditto. Except they charged me for the amended order - check the total on your receipt!

No end of mad problems with it since they updated the website and app a couple of weeks ago.

It's been awful recently. Didn't let me ammend ana order and keeps making my phone crash. I switched to Sainsbury's this week!

Yes I had constant issues last week trying to edit an order. Wouldn’t accept any payment card, even the saved ones. Tried different devices, browsers and 5 different cards. Customer services told me my card must be expired, despite me having told her 3 times that I’ve tried FIVE different cards!
I don’t even like Asda, their own food is rank! I just needed certain branded items Ocado didn’t have but HALLELUJAH! They now stock the items so no need to deal with Asda anymore. Half the stuff you order doesn’t turn up anyway!

Thank god it isn't just me. I never used to have any problems with them until May and I've been using them for years.

I'm having different problems for about a month now. I order my mums shopping - she lives about 75 miles away.

I usually use the desktop version. When I go in and select her address, it tells me there are no slots and anything in my basket will be losT.

When I use the app, which I deleted and reinstalled yesterday- it does not show her address in the address book but will not allow it to be added. It also shows an old address in thr address book which I deleted months ago.

I'm stumped.

I’ve had emails from them saying that as they are changing the app and the website at the moment there may be glitches at the moment, including with trolleys not saving etc.

I think the revised versions are due to be launched imminently so hopefully all this will be fixed.

I was meant to have a refund for this week's cocked up delivery but I've instead been refunded an entirely random unrelated sum (nowhere near enough).

Last week's came OK but only after our slot disappeared and we had to book a new one and then I got seven receipts for it.

The Asda website and app have now been updated. As with any changes, you might notice some teething problems. To make your experience better, try signing out and back in again.

As well as returning to the smooth shopping experience you can expect from us, you’ll also see:
Improved payment process
We’ll only take payment when you’ve received your order. This means you won’t be charged for items you send back – so there’s no need to ask for a refund.
Regulars and Favourites
The items that you buy regularly can be found in your Regulars section. Your Favourites will only contain items that you’ve added manually. To add an item to your Favourites, simply click the ‘heart’ icon on the product. If you can’t find something you usually buy in your Favourites, have a look in your Regulars.

Ooh I haven't received anything, I'll make sure to sign in and out of the app before I try to order again next week. If it dares give me the same error message I will lose the plot.

It isn’t!! Spent hours doing my list, went to check out and it has randomly lost two thirds of it!

I give up. Dp going to Aldi tomorrow instead. Tbf, Aldi is cheaper and much better quality than asda…

Well I signed in and out and tried again also this week and it still wouldn't let me check out so I had to go in person again. I did ask a staff member at the scan&go section but he didn't have a clue, said he was only trained in Asda rewards app not the shopping app.

I'm in northern Ireland so we don't have Aldi here, I wish we did!

With the random sums taken and refunded, I think we're down about £50 at the moment. I need to chase it and have the dread of trying to explain it all hanging over me. Successfully skipped this week's slot while we're away and am tempted to just switch to Sainsbury's (our easiest alternative) when we get back.

I put in items to search, it come with with 30 off options but doesn't show me any just days 15 of 30 but I can't see anything! I use Asda and Tesco, as I always go for the lowest price of each item.

£50?! That's awful, for some people that is the difference between eating and not eating.

I really don't know what is going on with them. This week's order couldn't be completed. We logged out, back in. Etc. Its rubbish. Sorry Asda, we are off, had enough mucking about. I phoned helpline, hopeless
