From a gift card. Need inspiration!

I’d add to it and buy an iconic scarf.

Good idea re scarf - but if you don’t want to add to it, I’d buy 2 metres of tana lawn and make a chemise (or your own scarf!)

They open their Christmas floor quite early. You might be able to choose a couple of pretty baubles if that’s your kind of thing? I like their scent hall but £50 wouldn’t go far. Maybe a really nice notebook?

random but I saw they had some interesting jigsaw puzzles (own brand) so I’d go for that. I don’t really think there’s much else they sell that you can’t find at Selfridges, Harrods etc.

generally speaking some of the things I have bought from high end department stores in that price range recently:

  • penhaligons atomiser
  • travel sized perfume
  • hourglass glossy balm
  • wedgewood tray
  • seletti vase
  • gifts for people eg Wicked monopoly board game, sol de janerio gift set
  • coffee table books
  • makeup/haircare in general

I was in the same position and found £50 doesn't go far in Liberty - even in the sale! I'd put it towards something in the beauty hall.

A pair of Emma Bridgewater Liberty mugs

or match the sum and get a small silk scarf

or wait to spend on Xmas decs

Or a tapestry/needlepoint kit

Or Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage ware

Can you add to it? Mine didn't go far either so I bit the bullet and went for a stunning bag for £175 and paid the difference. I think they have really unique items.

I would go dress jewellery, some really nice huggie gold plated earrings at the moment - labia azure or green stone....or some Trinny make up/skin care

Crankyaboutfood · 16/07/2025 09:21

something from lisa eldridge

Lapis...not labia!!!! Those would be quite a statement piece of jewellery 😂

Stationery- bookmarks, notebooks, pens.

I used to do the Liberty Beauty Drop and had a similar amount of Liberty vouchers kicking about for ages!! In the end I went for Diptyque hand wash and I have zero regrets, it’s the most gorgeous soap I’ve ever used.
