Ultra-wide screen monitor for working from home - good for your back or not?

I'm having quite bad mid back pain on one side. I work from home and I'm spending very long hours at the moment on a project. I need three screens at least, and I think they are correctly set up, plus I have a reasonably good office chair. But the third screen is to one side (vertically) and obviously I need to turn my head frequently to read the docs there. I think this is contributing to my back pain.

Would one of these ultra wide monitors help, particularly the curved ones? It would get rid of the dead space between monitors and I think that would minimise head turning. But maybe they're better for gaming rather than working?

Any tips, please let me know!

I have one of those wide curved monitors and it is great. I really rate it. Can’t say if it would cure your neck ache but they are good

I have a condition called Ankolysing Spondylitis which causes back pain. I switched from 2 screens to a curved screen and it is much better for me.

I too use a curved monitor and love it.

Thanks! It sounds like you all agree it could be a great option.

I hated the curved one and now have one big flat one. Can you try one for a while and see if it helps? OT should come out and do an assessment

Thanks, can I ask why you didn’t like the curved one?
