I'm considering taking my 5 and 8 yr old for the first time in the summer hols. What should I expect? Will the queues be awful? Will my 5 year old be allowed to don most rides?
I'm a single mum so it's just me and them going 🙈

It’s lovely and they are the perfect age for it. There’s rides, parks , bouncy castles, mini golf. Loads to do. I can only remember one ride that ds needed an adult to gp on with him (he was around 7 first time we went though) but most of the rides are aimed at littlies.
yes it will be busy in summer hols we had a queue pass (ds is disabled) so didn’t have any issues but because there’s lots more than rides it’s easy to break it up. It’s not like Alton towers though probably a few rides might have 30 min or so queues. I’d get there about 30 min before opening and be among first in. And head to the back of the park and work your way backwards. Food is expensive/not great so we took pack lunch.
