I need cheering up

I'm sitting in hospital with an ill elderly parent. As long as I'm engaged with them I'm fine, but they're napping now and I remember to be upset when I'm not busy.

So please cheer me up with some pictures of daft and gorgeous pets.

Here's a donkey I met yesterday. I've not cuddled a donkey for ages and he was just perfect.

I'm sorry you are dealing with hospitals and ill parent. A scary, worry, frustrating time.

I'd forgotten how much I love a donkey. My youngest DC has been given the task to find me a donkey to sponsor (one we can hopefully visit).

We went to a donkey sanctuary in Scotlandstw weekend as my choice of birthday trip!

A donkey looks like a horse designed by someone who wants something to cuddle 🥰

This is my friend’s cat Gary. I’m sure that she won’t mind me sharing it in the circumstances. Gary is upset because his favourite tree has just been cut down. He’s covered in bits of the cut down tree. His sister is looking horrified in the background.
