Applying to join the RAF - DAA test

DS has applied to join the RAF and has his DAA soon. We know he'll sit the test in the recruitment office, but what happens during the rest of the interview - does anyone know?

He ticked the box on the application form to show he hasn't decided what role he's applying for, but it will be something more technical-based and at the lower end of the academic scale.

Good luck to him! I have no practical advice as it's 30 years since I sat the equivalent test, then called "Airman Entry" but I just had to sit a written test in the careers office.
They marked the test there and then and said I'd passed and did I fancy a crack at the officer test?
I did that and passed well enough to get invited to Cranwell for the 3 day OASC board. This is a mixture of practical tests, written tests, medicals and interviews.
That was as far as I went though, I didn't pass the board and ended up in the Civil Service...
Again, best of luck to your DS.

Thank you! I think it'll be a really good fit for him and vice versa, I really hope he passes 🤞
