A friend and I are going to the Cartier exhibition and I want to take her out for her birthday lunch. Any suggestions of somewhere smart but not too much.

Any food but Italian. Nice surroundings a plus as well. Thankyou

I like Brother Marcus near the tube station. Also Five Guys

There's a comptoir Libanais - nice food - chain but a good one.

don't know the others but agree le compotoir is a good chain

I had a great meal at Ognisko on Exhibition Road recently. It’s Polish.

I love Colbert in Sloane Square. A little piece of Paris in London.

Compton is great, and gave tried Brother Marcus elsewhere which was also good.
