Lemon balm for depression

I suffer from minor depression, I heard lemon balm is good for depression, has anyone tried it,

For making a tangible difference in clinically diagnosed depression? No. For a nice cup of tea which will make you feel a tiny bit calmer? Yes. It also grows like an absolute thug in the garden and needs no maintenance, which is a winner in my book but if you don’t want it to take over pop it in a pot

Saint John's Wort is good for mild to medium depression but counterindicated for some people. You can google it. A friend of mine drank about a litre of lemon balm tea everyday for months and got quite ill as a result

I will no take lemon balm, lemon balm could be lethal if you drink too much. Maybe try st johns or 5htp
