What can I do? Too hot for me, dh and dc gone out. I keep walking round the garden.

Weeding? You’re already in the garden, do something useful.

If it’s too hot for that you’ve obviously got a phone or computer with the world’s-knowledge at the tip of your fingers so google something you’ve always wanted to know.

I honestly can't imagine being bored with the world at your fingertips.

Watch a documentary, read a book, google something you find interesting, download and play a game, look up some recipes, call a friend...

@shellyleppard Oh, I don't doubt, but I think mine are the best ;) Granted, I may be a tad biased... :) (I used to do most of the puzzles in The Lady, until that suddenly closed a couple of months ago. This is my way of trying to keep them going!)

I’m contemplating filling some baguette for my lunch and then eating it in the garden. I started the day with a lovely lake swim then dh and I had to go for a walk to collect our car from where we left it last night.
Other than doing a bit of washing I don’t have any other plans today. Would quite like a walk down by the canal but no one seems that keen so it could be a solo walk for me!

Sounds ideal.
I'll go to the gym later.
