Going on holiday next weekend and need a new book. Just read a couple of non-fics, so now want some good fiction, preferably creepy/atmospheric and definitely gripping!
Must be well written, though: I hate poorly written books, even if the story's good.

TIA for any suggestions 😊

The family upstairs by Lisa jewel. Then it’s sequel the family remains. Or birthday twins… also Lisa jewel. Sucked me right in with the twists and turns!!!

Thanks, all, I've looked all of those up and they all look really good and interesting. Will be difficult to choose which to read first.
I love that they are all women authors and have goodfemale characters!

That looks good too, @cadburygorilla !

Think I'll buy 2 and download 2 on Spotify.
Well, I'm going to the Lake District so it will probably rain!

I’ve got these coming with me next week. They were passed on by a friend. Not sure if they are any good but they should at least do me a flight each.

Call me Elizabeth is a true story though, or loosely based on.

Stacey Halls - Mrs England

or for creepy, I’d definitely recommend Strange Sally Diamond

Thanks all. These all look great and very much what I'm looking for. The ones I don't get now I'll put on my list for later.

Lessons in Chemistry was good. I read that this last holiday

All the colours of the dark is gripping, entertaining, creepy, humorous. Short chapters so a great holiday read. I was sad when I finished it and I don’t often find that in a book.
