Has anyone been to see Oasis yet? How were they? Im going to see them in Wembley at the end of the month.

@IamSmarticus can I ask what time u think I should get there? I want to watch Ashcroft but bothered by cast but don’t want to get stuck in mega long queues. We have front standing tickets and quite happy to be at the back of that. Any advice?

Not been but Showtime at Heaton Park was 8.15. you can find timings online. Every report and You Tube clips shows them on fire. Great set list. All too big for me but hope they can keep the momentum going.

We got inside the park at about 5ish - caught the shuttle bus from the city centre, no queue to get in. We sat in the shade by the bars and had a drink until about 6:30 when we went to find a place to stand. It soon filled up just before 7pm when Richard Ashcroft came on so anytime before 7 you should be fine.

We were in general admission, I've been reading that people in front standing were getting there pretty early, like 4:30ish latest.

Went to Cardiff last weekend. I honestly wasn’t really looking forward to it as their 2009 gigs had been so awful.

they were incredible - the sound, the production, the atmosphere. Everything was spot on. I’d love to go back and do it all again. Euphoric.

I was at Heaton Park yesterday, they were brilliant. I live pretty near the park and can hear the set really well so aM looking forward to the next three gigs 😂.

We got into the park about 6.45 and it finished about 10.15.

Incredibly excited! I don’t know if I should get a tram…sale to Heaton park but requiring a change in town
or a taxi drop off at 4pm - been quoted 30 for this which is fine for me!

Train station would be either Victoria or Piccadilly, depends where you are coming from, then a tram to Heaton Park

Where is she coming from? Trams to Heaton Park are running from Victoria station only, none from Piccadilly, so she would need to get there.
