What's your work attire like?

How formal is it? Or how casual is it?

I just wear a blouse and smart trousers.

DS can rock up in a T-shirt and jeans at his office.

But his friends in the world of finance need to wear a suit jacket.

No blue denim, no cleavage, pretty much the only rules. I dress pretty casually and always wear trainers, might look a bit more formal if I've got an important meeting or big assembly.

There are about a hundred million threads on the Style & Beauty board on this subject … Grin

I'm just wondering! What do women in high flying careers wear?

I'm a cook. Thick trousers, men's baggy shirt, hairnet, hat, steel toed shoes, big apron. I am very unglamorous and certainly not high-flying so maybe not what you wanted!

Casual. T shirts and jeans are fine.

I work for a global corporate and they scrapped the business wear policy about 15 years ago.

I’m in a job that is typically done by men. I’m the first woman in the role (10 others doing the same job - all men). Uniform is provided. Polo shirt and trousers. No problem with the polo shirt but the trousers (men’s) simply don’t fit! If they fit around my waist they are skin tight over my bum and like flares at the bottom. Work finally got me some womens trousers that fit but it took forever.
