Having a BBQ with guests, do you clean?

It’s only family coming who we haven’t seen in a very long time.
It’s important to me that it’s presentable, dh really couldn’t give a shit at all.

Ive cut the grass, put some lovely flowers in, swept up, cleaned the house (with kids & dh)
Dh just does not see any of the crap, shit lying around that is his. I’ve piled it all up and shoved it under the table where he sits.

The place looks neat, tidy and clean but just gone in the snug and he has put a big fuck off chest freezer in there after I’ve cleaned and tidied it. I asked him to put it in the garage. Right in the middle of the fucking room.
don’t want a row as they will be here in 20 mins. Ffs I could scream..

How did he manage to move it in there by himself? And where did it come from? Is it new? Or he’s loved it it there to use for the bbq food, from somewhere else?
I don’t really understand your post

Eh how has he done that without you noticing? And why?

He snuck a chest freezer into the snug? That guy is stealth 🤣

Tell him to move it asap

I'm not sure why you would need to be cleaning the whole house, if your guests will be in the garden.
Even if you don't have a downstairs toilet and people need to go upstairs, the bedroom and living room doors can be closed and no-one is seeing anything.

However, I am very impressed that your dh can magic up a chest freezer, then manoeuvre it himself into somewhere he thinks works for this particular function.
