Argh- no period but negative test

I’m usually like clockwork too. Period should have started on Wednesday and usually would be in the morning. I have no symptoms at all in either way.

I bought a cheapie test yesterday but it was definitely negative. Is a false negative a thing? Just wait it out?

What do you want thr answer to be? I’ve had both outcomes in this situation so… if it’s helpful I’ve had a week of negative tests and then a positive and (one crazy, terrifying time in my early 20s) three weeks of negative tests and then my period. I’m like clock work every 26 days now but I still get an occasional weeks wait just to throw me off.
