UK break suggestions - not camping or a lodge, where I have to cook.

I’m after a short break but I’m being quite fussy, and not sure if it’s doable.

Id like to be really close to a beach, but not over crowded. I don’t want to cook or do any washing up, so good restaurants near by. Maybe some lively places to go at night a for a drink.

Does such a place exist?

You will probably find a place with good restaurants and night life will also be crowded

unless you are thinking after school summer holidays

hmmmm I can deal with overcrowding I think. As long it’s not single file streets and thousands of people trying get in and out.

Honestly, anywhere! I’m not tied to a certain coast

Aberystwyth in a hotel?

Last August we went to Wells next the sea in Norfolk which was delightful. Plenty of people about but not crowded. We hired a cottage but you don’t have to stay in and cook!
