When the best time to book Florida flights for best price?

Hoping to head on July next year not really restricted with dates. I was hoping to get villa/flights from Dublin all in for absolute max 5k (but ideally about £4k) we don’t want park tickets as we’re happy to just do day trips etc.

am I being ridiculous with my expectations?

We booked 7 months prior for May half term last year. Black Friday, New Year sales etc passed and the price did not fall below what I paid.

if you’re looking for a villa look at Sheraton Lake Buena Vista- really lovely serviced villa. We paid £4k for 10 nights inc flights via BA website

Are you staying in Orlando but not going to the parks? IMO that would be a shame, there’s so many beautiful parts of Florida to visit.

Anyway, for school holidays, we’ve always found the best time to book is as soon as they’re released if you can, look at mid-week flights, consider Miami or Tampa as well as Orlando.

May be worth getting a package (if you include a hotel, even for 1 night with BA, it counts as a package, and there are often discounts accordingly, plus you can spread your payments). We always book a fly drive.

Also consider flying indirect - a short layover can save a lot of money (or you could build it into your trip - we’ve done that with a few days in New York).

Villas we always book via AirBNB or VRBO.
