Sickness Bug…need advice please!

I’ve been up since 3am with D & V… only trouble is, there’s nothing left in me, but I’m still dashing to the loo, or heaving into a bowl (sorry, bit graphic!) it’s so painful doing all this when there is nothing there, I feel “inside out” and totally weak and drained.

Any advice on what to do next?

I don’t know where this has come from, it’s not a food bug, as only ate toast yesterday teatime, but it’s certainly relentless!

Drink water as much as you can. It will settle. Dry toast and flat pop when you feel better x

I’ve had water as I was desperately thirsty, weather not helping - but it just keeps coming back up🤷‍♀️ which is now really hurting.

Why not off-brand? Is there something different in it?

tonic water has quinine in it so maybe not just still to plain water get some Rehydrate is someone can pop to chemist for you. otherwise flat cola or lemonade would be fine. it is painful when nothing left but your body is trying to expel, try to sleep put a cool fan on or a/c

Flat ginger ale, or ginger beer, is what we take for the tummy bug.

Try and sip it, rather than glug it down. It stands more chance of staying down that way.

Suck ice cubes or water based ice lollies (not dairy based ones) to help hydrate you slowly.
