Cloth nappy help

Going to be using cloth nappies when baby is here, I’ve been given this one - all my others are waterproof shells with add your own absorbable inserts which I understand - can anyone shed some light on this type so I can investigate please?

It seems very small and bulky as the absorbency padding is integral

thanks!

I used cloth nappies on my babies. Loved it. But I don't like the look of that one . I didn't like the all on one style or the picket variety. I preferred the two part. I liked tots bots (no longer available apparently) with a motherease airflow wrap. But I had all sorts 😁

Highly suggest you look at www.thenappylady website lots of useful info.

There must be a cloth happy forum on here. Although it's been decades since I needed one🤯

Yeah this one looks weird. Ive inherited quite a few ones a bit like this and just haven't used them. Incidently I'm finding the close newborn ones so good with a small baby. There's loads of Vinted (if I haven't bought them all)

I couldn’t find a specific cloth nappy bit here!

I’ve got a load of kit and kin and little and bloom (I think..) nappies which are waterproof otters with stuffable pickets and am excited to use them - think this one might end up in the bin sadly as it’s such an odd type. The nappy lady hasn’t seen it before either
