What to do in/near Frome

I have a few hours to kill in (or near) Frome on Sunday between 10.30am and 2pm. The weather forecast is 31°C. I will be with my 13 year old, who hates being hot, so I think my original idea of going for a walk will be very unpopular! Any suggestions of what we could do that is nearby that won’t mean we are in the sun at the hottest part of day? Bonus points for something with a/c, but it’s not essential.

It is the last few days of the Frome Festival so there are quite a few events on that day.

There are the Boulder Rooms which is an indoor climbing place which will probably be somewhere to stay cool, or Nest - which is a cafe where you can have coffee and cake and paint a pottery ornament.
