I'm fed up, bored, and hungry. Instead of doing something about any of these things, I've just poured myself a glass of wine 🍷. I'll pour a second after this one, too.

A second wine sounds better than
nagging a year9 about maths revision

I have 75% made a Greek salad which is in fridge chilling
will read a chapter or two of novel
then make tahini sauce and put that in the fridge

then at 6.30 ish will put on a pan of rice & orzo
and grill some lamb chops
and chop some lettuce/avocado

voila dinner is served basically cooked on a chopping board (summer cooking)

what I want to be doing is chatting in the garden with music on and no alarms the next day but that doesn’t seem to happen!

Oh and I need to do an online delivery for tomorrow morning

if you want suggestions to get you moving splash cold water on your face gets all the senses going

i have 8 peaches and a bottle of Prosecco I can turn into sorbet in an hour if that helps!

In very unyummymummiesnet style I also have 2 baskets of dry clean laundry that are likely to stay where they are, an unfixable leaking airbed that I can’t decide if I ditch or cut it open and make a waterproof cover for something with it

one kitchen surface, 2 desks, one studio desk, a coffee table and an outdoor ledge covered in Warhammer figures (not mine) in various stages of painting

and a stack of quick cryptic crosswords I said I would do when I had the time that remain unsolved

Watching the tennis and being stared at by the pets as it’s nearly their dinner time.

Speaking of dinner, we were supposed to go to some friends but they’ve had to cancel. So now we have to decide what to eat which is the w o r s t.

Just cooking tea and catching up on eastenders

Half watching Wimbledon, eating chocolate cranberries and scrolling on Mumsnet ❤️

I stuck some veg, chicken, in the oven, then added bulgar wheat and chopped tomatoes with some seasoning. Actually turned out pretty well.

Now I am laying on my bed watching a documentary. I have a day to myself tomorrow. Not really sure what to do, maybe cinema but there's not much on. Might just end up running errands and doing some jobs. Maybe a nap.

Im thinking of making florentines. I could bring those? There's a bit of fruit in there, with pp's sorbet were racking up our 5a day
