Dd is not a hugger and is not one for spontaneous declarations of affection or, frankly, gratitude. She’s had a loooong journey to her holiday with little sleep and a couple of low level obstacles have come up - easily resolved after messaging me.
So it feels nice. And I wanted to brag about it without actually bragging in real life and being a dick😬
