Anyone know how these photo frame clips work?

Just that really, can anyone tell me how these kind of rubbery feeling clips work?

Not that clear from the photo, but don't they just twist round to hold the photograph in place.

Edited to add that you would need a photo the same size as the frame or the cardboard frame that goes round the photo.

I'll try to take a better photo. They can't twist in any dimension as they are in a channel. There are 2 panes of glass both held by these rubber things and the paper currently in there is between the 2 panes. Never seen a frame like it!

Anyone know how these photo frame clips work?

I've never seen photo frames like that either. Can the middle of the clip be pushed up or down? Bumping for you in case someone else knows.

Does it slide up then turn? I have a mini one like that and that's how it opens.

Finally I have taken some tweezers to it. There are three of those rubber things and I pulled all of them completely out with tweezers. Then reinserted them afterwards. Very bizarre not to be hand operated or have instructions.
