They don't exist in 'real life'! He's a musician.. he performed at Glastonbury. I've liked his work since the very beginning but was never really a fan until recently.
After his Glastonbury set I kind of felt.. like a teenager. It didn't really occur to me that I have a crush 😅 but he's so sweet and lovely. I went through his whole instagram 🫣 eek.. it's been years since I had a crush, but I used to have them a lot. (I've always thought I'm ND but never been diagnosed)

I googled his wife briefly and I wasn't expecting it to be her... she was in an obscure indie band about 15 years ago, my ex fancied her and had her album.. 😢 he said she looked a bit like me. I guess I'll take that! I mean I don't still look like I did in 2010 and I doubt she does either. But when I discovered it was her I kind of sobbed for a while, pathetic in a way but it didn't release some emotion.

Has anyone had a weird crush? Feeling kind of sad and lonely. Must stop thinking and comparing myself to his wife! I suppose I can forgive myself, I am going through a stressful time and I had a horrible call with occupational health at work this week (more sobbing!) but still it's annoying..

I have a crush on a woman at work. I am a woman married to a man. I say nothing. No-one is none the wiser. It’s most bizarre. I’m perimenopausal. Luckily we don’t bump into each other much. I do get it OP. I just bumble along and I think mine will pass. She is gay. I am chatty just the same as I am with everyone else. I’d never want her to know.

regarding the 'if I were 18 I would have fancied him - Finn Wolfhard / Mike from Stranger things. He feeds into my 'slightly nerdy, tall gangly, touselhaired and a big nose thing. Along with Simon Amstell and Stampy the Minecraft bloke. And young skinny Marc Almond when I WAS 18. I too am ND so I have had a lifetime of dealing with these quite overwhelming but make sure you keep them in check obsessions. I would never actually do anything wierd and stalkery though. My DP paid for me to have a meet and greet with Adam Ant once and I was so shy I could barely shake his hand.

Oh I’m terrible for hyper-focusing. I have a friend who manages to hyperfocus on things that are practical and useful in her daily life, and taught herself to code and make clothes etc. From my RS obsession I’ve found out a lot about 1970s tv schedules and horror films- interesting but not sure how to utilise (Mastermind?).
Mind you, I used to have an obsession with old music charts, and I can still sometimes pull out bits of knowledge when I’m trying to out-smug dinner party bores.

@LittlleMyooohh I love that! A few people had asked him for signatures and stuff but I was too shy!! We stood outside and they came out and ended up rather close so conversation was struck up. My friend was pregnant and he congratulated her and said his wife was also pregnant and we all chatted about kids for a minute or two then I did manage to say I really enjoyed his last few films I had seen and he was so lovely about it. Totally fell in love and he is extremely good looking in person even more so!

I have a tragic crush. A guy I held a candle for from my youth. We sort of got it together a couple of times but didn't. He died last year. Brought it all back. I swear I look at his profile online every day like some crazed stalker. Can't get him out my head.
