They don't exist in 'real life'! He's a musician.. he performed at Glastonbury. I've liked his work since the very beginning but was never really a fan until recently.
After his Glastonbury set I kind of felt.. like a teenager. It didn't really occur to me that I have a crush 😅 but he's so sweet and lovely. I went through his whole instagram 🫣 eek.. it's been years since I had a crush, but I used to have them a lot. (I've always thought I'm ND but never been diagnosed)

I googled his wife briefly and I wasn't expecting it to be her... she was in an obscure indie band about 15 years ago, my ex fancied her and had her album.. 😢 he said she looked a bit like me. I guess I'll take that! I mean I don't still look like I did in 2010 and I doubt she does either. But when I discovered it was her I kind of sobbed for a while, pathetic in a way but it didn't release some emotion.

Has anyone had a weird crush? Feeling kind of sad and lonely. Must stop thinking and comparing myself to his wife! I suppose I can forgive myself, I am going through a stressful time and I had a horrible call with occupational health at work this week (more sobbing!) but still it's annoying..

Ah yes you sound hormonal and unhappy with your life. I relate! And there’s been boards on here that it’s the time of life we wake up to reality and also get crazy crushes. Totally happened to me. ESP with musicians for some reason. If it’s any consolation. Think it can be a useful wake-up call. You do deserve to be on a path where you can feel more fulfilled and it’s possible.

I have tonnes of celebrity crushes, and I have a whole, secret fantasy alter ego who has had love affairs with all of them 🤣 she’s a hot superstar dj and music producer who travels the world having steamy liaisons with whichever dj/boxer/f1 personality catches my eye next!
I’ve never told a single soul in real life about this but she’s being going strong for for years. Every I think time she’s found ‘the one’, I discover another hot man for her! She’s currently enthusiastically working her way through the World Rally Championship drivers 😆

My weird crush over 10 years ago now was David Mitchell lol. He used to write a newspaper column and fronted a comedy show at the time and I used to religiously read his column and followed him on Twitter (previously never used lol) and overthought every tweet and became irrationally jealous whenever a woman was involved 😅. I did get carried away with my fantasy tbh but also like yourself OP was going through an extremely difficult time and I think I just overly latched onto him and yes I was very upset when he married Victoria Coren. But also weirdly pleased as she would be who I would have chosen if I had to as he definitely held a torch for her and so we parted on good terms haha.

Prior to and since then of course I’ve had crushes but nothing to that extent 😊

Im 59 in a fortnight and am currently obsessed with Reece Shearsmith. But I cant do any lustful thinking because firstly he had some actual stalker who I believe threatened his family or got wierd, which made him come off SM, but secondly he has a family he loves very much and Id feel bad about the reality of that. So I think Ive managed to square the fantasy that maybe we had something back in the day, before either of us knew our current partners, and now we are just good friends.....
