Anyone in Edinburgh can help?

We were in Edinburgh yesterday and DS spent his money on a couple of items from the Holyrood shop. When we got to the airport, we realised he had lost the bag and he cried and cried, but it was too late to go back.
so today I have been trying to fix it 🤦‍♀️. We can’t find the name of the coffee shop where we think he left it. We think it’s in the old Starbucks premises on Canongate and may be called Royal Mile Coffee, but it’s only just opened and we can’t find a contact number for them or any way of contacting them.
I tried to order a replacement but the cuddly tea cup (!) isn’t available online and they can’t post one out to us.
Does anyone know the coffee shop I mean and has any idea how I could contact them about a lost bag?

can try and do some digging for you but I didn't know Starbucks had gone!

Thank you! Yes, we’ve been looking at Street View and it’s still Starbucks on there! That’s our best guess though.

I've just been in and they couldn't find a bag there I'm afraid. He checked all.the cupboards while I was there.
It is called Royal Mile Coffee and is.now.painted white just to check that is the right one

How did you get to the airport? Could it have been left on a bus or tram?

Did you use any toilets, and left it on the inside door hook?

the only other likely place to me was the cathedral, but we also went to the castle and on the tram, so it probably could be anywhere 🤦‍♀️.
At least I can stop obsessing over the coffee shop!!

Where do you stay OP? Would it be possible for one of us to go to the Holyrood shop and purchase the items again and post them out to you?

have you got any photos from places you went after the coffee shop that might identify when you still had it?

@EdinburghSOS Thank you - I will try the trams just in case, but I thought we had put it into our big rucksack by that time. Bearing in mind that we clearly hadn't, I think it must have been gone by then 😥

Aww, well let me know if you change your mind. The thought of him crying so much was so sad and Im often up that end of town!
