I need a screen protector for my phone

I keep my phone in my pocket, so I have the thinnest phone cases to reduce bulk - eg no flap across the phone. If I use a plastic screen protector it always peels off at the edges from being dragged across my tight jeans pockets. Glass screen protectors stay on much better, but always end up splintering at the edges, eventually cutting me or leaving glass splinters in my hand.

Can anyone recommend a screen protector that will neither peel nor splinter?

Dc have these type. Screen protector clicks onto the front then the case clicks over the back/edges of the screen protector bit. Doesn't add much/any bulk.

Meant to add, eldest has had his on coming up 2 years and aside from being a bit grubby it's pretty much unscathed.
