Ads on threads

Has anyone else noticed that ads are playing automatically now? It's maddening! Anyone know how to disable? I can't scroll quietly now without waking dc! 🤬

Still trying to figure out how to block the ads' sound that comes on automatically now. I don't mind ads on the page, but automatic sound is offensive and disturbing to me and others around me.

Ok. It's a bit weird. It hadn't happened fir about a week now. It wasn't every time I used MN and just seemed so random. I'd click on a thread, start scrolling comments and as soon as I was near an ad it would play even though the sound icon on the ad had the sound off symbol. 🤷‍♀️
