Her unpleasant sneering and superior attitude when she was in the shadow cabinet has done her no favours. If you take that approach, you have to make sure you perform when you're given the chance. Reeves has demonstrated she is incompetent with no credible ideas, as well as being a deceitful liar. Lacking in both integrity and talent - hardly surprising she's now deeply unpopular.

All politicians say these things. Literally all of them. All parties, both sexes.

Whether you agree with their politics or not, it’s part of the game to criticise the policies of your opposition and say you will do better yourself.

It's not difficult for any politician to avoid boasting about how much better than their predecessors they are going to be. They should know things won't go to plan and take that into account and show some humility, but she couldn't do that, her lack of experience had her boasting about it all and now she's crying about it all.

She's a human, and she has a job with stress levels and responsibilities that the vast majority of people will never come near to experiencing.
