Help! I need a new phone

I'm in need of a new (to me) phone. Can anyone recommend a recent-ish Samsung model that I'm likely to find on refurbished sites? 128GB storage, nothing fancy, just a good all-rounder with a decent camera. Preferably under £200 though I'm prepared to go to £250.

I’m not familiar with Samsung but have a look on musicmagpie. They do a lot of refurbed phones and they have a year guarantee. I’ve only had one phone that had an issue and it was refunded with no quibble.

Someone on my other thread has said not to touch musicmagpie with a bargepole but I will take a look.

Music magpie is brilliant. I've used it a lot. Also I was always a Samsung user, but when I needed a new phone they were too expensive at that point in time. I paid less than £100 for a brand new Motorola and I wouldn't go back to Samsung now

We have used the big phone store a couple of times and it is brilliant.

Mines three years old but even refurbished it would cost me at least £300 to replace. Unless you go for the A range which is cheaper.

Backmarket

Search Doogee phones on Amazon they're just as good (if not better) than a Samsung and they're a fraction of the price. I paid £135 for mine. Battery lasts ages(no need to charge daily)good camera and storage

I have a Galaxy S22. It's a good phone, camera is fine but the battery is pathetic (known issue).
My daughter has an S24. That has a brilliant battery and the camera is amazing. I doubt you'd get one in your price range though

@squashyhat we bought our daughter a used Samsung S22 from CEX last year for a reasonable price. CEX do 2 year warranties. She loves the phone and hasn't had any problems with it. We then bought a pricey laptop from them graded C (the worst condition from A-C) and it's hardly got a mark on it! 👍🏻

If you have a CEX store locally, I'd definitely pop in 🙂

CEX or Musicmagpie.

I tend to get contract phones but have used Musicmagpie for tablets and iPads. No problems at all. My DD uses CEX and has no issues with them either. DH occasionally uses both.
