How to clean a weighted blanket?

I love my weighted blanket, but how on earth do i launder it? Its a single one, but still weighs a ton, dont think i can put it in the machine? Label says handwash with cold water... in the bath???? Soaking wet weighted bkanket... how ti dry? Any tips vert much appreciated!!!

You can spot clean it if it doesn’t fit in your machine. If it does fit in the machine, ensure its machine compatible (some aren’t- it’ll say on the label) only put it on a gentle cycle.

if it doesn’t fit in the machine or can’t be machine washed, you will need to replace it if it’s past spot cleaning.

My DS takes his to the local launderette, where they have the bigger machines, and puts it through a quick wash on its own.
