Im trying again to read House of Earth & Blood (Crescent City by Sarah J Maas)
A little bit through the book there is a bit that says "their parents had both been Archangels whose titles had been passed on to xxxx" (not really a spoiler)
It made me think, I always thought an Archangel was something you were born as, not promoted in to, or inherited. Kind like a house cat will never be a tiger, a tiger is born. I'm mainly thinking in fiction rather than a religious text.
Is my thinking weird or is it others think?
