Crippling abdo pain

About 48 hours ago I started with abdominal pain which moved to lower right abdomen been getting progressively worse e and was sent to A&E by gp. They did blood tests( clear) but urine test inconclusive. I fell over going to the hospital toilet because the jarring of walking made my legs buckleEvery tiny movement is agony. Their diagnosis "we don't know, maybe surgical adhesion from 24 year old gall bladder op which hadn't caused me any problems since.
They sent me home with a prescription for cocodamolbut at 10.30 no pharmacy is open.i literally cannot stand up to get off the sofa to get to bed. I've been shouting dh but he is asleep, I have called DD 2 and she brought me some Ibuprofen and I'm waiting for them t o kick in. Is this correct hospital protocol for someone with new severe worsening pain they haven't previously experienced. Shouldn't they do a scan at least?

Do you still have an appendix? I would be worried about appendicitis although clear bloods don't suggest infection (they picked up my DHs appendix with blood tests followed by a CT to confirm iirc).

Presume you've had gall bladder out so won't be stones.

How long ago did you go to A&E? Personally I would go back. I don't think you should be in excruciating pain at home!

PS sorry I meant to say, I'm sorry you're having such a rough time! Hope you feel much better really soon x

Phone 111 or go back to the hospital. It doesn't sound like you should be at home without a diagnosis. Hope you're feeling better soon

This is where I get my pain with a UTI, dip test hardly ever shows up anything much even when I'm in agony and I don't get pain or burning with urination though do feel like I need to go more frequently and have what the GP referred to, perfectly, as "awareness of the urethra" . Antibiotics normally help within 24 hours though
