I'm thinking of making a trip to - Staverton I guess? I'm thinking to visit Delapre Abbey if it's worth it. And Althorpe house.
The Abbey has a sort of spooky event going on July 10th. Potentially fun. Could be weird going on my own. Could also just be the kind of place that makes a big nothing out of scary stories to raise money.
Anyway, I see there's a few nice hotels in the area so I thought maybe I'd visit one of them or both of them and spend the night in a hotel. Has anyone been to either and are they worth it? It's just to get away for a night. I'm guessing the sensible thing to do is to stick with Althorpe House and then stay the night in a hotel.
Anyway ...This reminded me of the goat man thread. We could still have an MN trip in the area! I can't drive though so if we actually see it, I won't be able to get away 😂 here it is if anyone needs the entertainment. But this is basically the same area right?
Anything else to see in the area that people recommend? Or any hotel recommendations, thank you.
