Has anyone ever tried cryotherapy and would you recommend it?

I've had it to remove solar keratosis spots.
Very quick, relatively painless.
What are you having it for?

If you are referring to whole body cryotherapy, the big tank you stand in, wearing your underwear, the big thermal slipper and gloves, yes I had one session a few years ago.

Was really eager to try it out as a therapeutic thing, and hated it. Stayed in for around 2 mins 49 secs, had terrible chilblains up my calf’s, and instead of the endorphin rush they say your going to get, I just got a headache.

Was bought as a session of 3, got my money back for the remaining 2.

much rather have a nice massage or spa treatment imstead

Thank you both. I have cancer and it is on a list of non medical treatments patients can choose to have (depending on their pathologies) to help with side effects of chemo, radiotherapy, etc. I have pain in my legs and it was suggested that this would help (just on legs, not whole body) and for me it doesn’t have any contra-indications so I was wondering whether I should try.
