Although the lyrics are corny in places, it's still a classic COA song and perfect for the 30th June.

It's rarely played on the radio although Tony Blackburn played it on his Saturday morning show some while back but that's the first time I'd heard it in decades.

I like it, schmaltzy and over the top as it is but I think it has lots of atmosphere, you can almost feel the heat and sun due to the way the music is arranged.

Loathed Honey though, thought that was a horror of a song. 😱

If it was ‘ she was 17 and I was 31’ a few eyebrows might have been raised, but an older more experienced woman having sex with a teenager is fine .. !
It is an atmospheric song though I agree.

One of my most favourite songs. It just oozes steamy atmosphere.

The piano phrase makes the song.
