How the flip do you open this?

I have bought this cheese selection a couple of times. For just two of us it gives variety and is not too expensive. However every time I end up looking like a character in a horror movie, wielding a knife and stabbing it.
Please enlighten me. How are you supposed to get into it?

I had one of these last week! I was fiddling around with the card around the edge and it popped opened. Not much help but no scissors were required

I buy this. You just peel the cardboard edge into two. If you see what I mean.

I'd attack it with the knife. 🤣

Actually, I think modern packaging, whether for food or anything else, is designed to keep people out. Getting into Fort Knox would usually be easier.

Yes I buy this for me and DH. As someone mentioned it has a virtually invisible cardboard strip around the edge lip bit of carton. The strip peels off so you can open the lid. It had me bamboozled at first.

Thank you for all your help. I have now discovered the secret via your tips. Did it on my pre butchered pack, so still not sure how to start it on a sealed pack but I have hope
