Flying today

I'm flying from the UK to France today. It's me, DH and DC.
Everything has changed since I last organised a flight. I used to have so many documents, now everything is on my phone!

Am I missing anything?

Passports-in my bag
Flying with easyjet -checked in on the app already
Hotel-checked in on an app already
Transfers-all done online and the codes in my emails
Travel insurance etc-ive printed that out. Just incase.

We're going to Disneyland Paris so all booked through Disney. All park tickets etc are on the app.

What else am I missing?

Nothing in your handbag that shouldn't be there? For example anything sharp?

Plastic bags for liquids?

S1M2I3L4E5 · 30/06/2025 08:11

We are taking just 1 suitcase for all of us. Everything in handbaggage is below 100ml and can fit in one small bag.
Powerbank has to stay in handbaggage, is that right?
No vapes or sharps etc

Make sure all the documents are on DHs phone as well in case yours breaks, is lost/stolen or battery runs out.

I always take a printed boarding pass folded in my passport unless I'm on one of those Ryanair flights where you can't check in more than 24 hours ahead without paying and still generally have back up written details as to where the hotel is etc.

ruffler45 · 30/06/2025 08:22

What is your fall back position?

Printed versions?

Second phone?

theunbreakablecleopatrajones · 30/06/2025 08:25

Get there early - security plus holidays means the queues are long..

Take photos of your passports and email them to both of you

Have a great trip!

You haven't mentioned currency/cash. Do you have some euros and/or a currency card? Or will you just use credit cards for everything?

Yeah power bank in hand luggage, but just be aware not all Airports/Airlines allow them. Vapes are fine in hand luggage. I still bag mine into a clear plastic bag but that’s more for coming back from a different country. I tend to pack unopened bottles of e liquid in the suitcase and just put my vape with no liquid inside it into my hand luggage. Along with a lost Mary or crystal and a couple of refills so that way if there’s a smoking area I can have a quick vape before boarding

Double check the liquid thing. I flew on Saturday and didn’t need to remove liquids from my bag so they didn’t have to fit in that sandwich bag thing but they still have to be under 100ml

It depends on the airport

It not only depends on the airport, in some cases it depends which scanner you get sent to at the airport.

OP, if you have any prescription drugs take the original packaging and a copy of your prescription.
