Forgotten Celebrity romances?

I was just thinking about this the other day about how I distinctly remember that Kelly MacDonald used to go out with the late Sean Hughes in the mid to late 90's and I remember a story in the press when Kelly broke up with him because of his drinking but their is nothing about that anywhere online now. Also the comedian Ed Byrne dating EastEnders actress Letitia Dean although I think their is still some trace of that online.

Anyone remember these or remember any others?

It isn't forgotten at all. Most of the others on the thread like e.g. Tom Cruise and Cher and Brad Pitt and Sinitta were very brief and a lot of people don't know about them. That isn't true of Lisa Marie and Michael, nor of Sean Penn and Madonna.

Brooke and Agassi aren't forgotten, but I didn't realise about Streisand!!

OK, the story about Torn was an urban legend then! But she did date David at one point.

She tried to pass it off as her own I think and was caught out. Seem to remember she was interviewed on TFI Friday and talked about the writing process but was all bollocks

Well, "forgotten" isn't a clear and definite term in the context of a light-hearted thread. I suspect that the John Major -Edwina Currie relationship is well known. It's all actually fairly subjective. Some of these unlikely pairings I remember well. Perhaps I was just joining in the chat with my contribution.

I don't get it. Have a go at some other posters who've added "well known" relationships. I personally would just let people join in what is a light hearted thread. However, I understand that I have been severely reprimanded! 😂

Lenny Kravitz and Nicole Kidman. Do forgive me if this counts as "well known", but I think that it surprised me because he seems so different to Tom Cruise. Plus I'd actually never heard of it at the time.

I dont think anyone knew about it at the time! It was only years later, I think when Nicole was in Big Little Lies with his daughter Zoe, that it came out.

Similarly, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx had a relationship for about 5 years and though there were some rumours, it was only confirmed after they split up.

Apparently the secrecy was to do with both women's very famous ex and his demands but who knows?
