Where’s my watch!

I have 2 old watches that I never wear. I went looking for them to sell…they’re worth about £1k and one is missing!
It was in it’s box, inside a cardboard box in my wardrobe. I saw it a couple of months ago when I first thought of selling it and now it’s gone! 😂
It has to be in the house, I’ve not worn it for 2years, it’s always been in the box.
I live on my own so it has to be somewhere…but where?
tomorrow I’m going to find it, I hope!

Well if they could return I’d really appreciate it asap, I’ve raided my wardrobe and bedside units tonight and it’s definitely not in either. Tomorrow I’ll tackle the spare room and living room.

it might be like my passport I “lost” years ago and turned up in the jewellery box that was the first place I looked while my whole house was upside down from my panic searching

Ok I think you watch is hiding inside my pewter cup and they are waiting for your passport to go back into hiding so that they can all go on holiday to Switzerland, home of all good watches . 😁🍵⌚️📕

Why did you last get it out? Were you thinking of selling it then? If so did you take it out to photograph it? Or to look at the details online? Did you take it out of the house to have it valued? Might you have put it somewhere safe to take it out later and if so could it be in a different box to before?

if you were putting it back could you have been interrupted and put it in roughly the same place to put away later?
