Where to store used oil?

I am not a fried food lover so barely use oil at all. However I have purchased a small electric counter top deep fat fryer for certain items I want to make and serve.

I don't plan to use it every day so am looking for a way to store the oil for next use. I am vegan so won't be cooking anything too strong smelling i.e. fish.

Does anyone else do this, what's the best type of container? There is 3 litres of oil.

You can buy 1l glass fridge jugs (I got mine from Asda for £2.50 each), they fit in the fridge door. Let the oil cool down before you pour it into the glass, and instead of the plastic lid try the silicon stretchy ones.
