Apologies if there is an existing thread for this. Did anyone see the programme last night? I thought Victoria Derbyshire did a great job. Empathetic & gentle. But my goodness the strength of that man & his surviving daughter was incredible. I need to watch again because it was harrowing to hear what happened to those poor women & I couldn’t process it all.

I didn’t watch it but I read the bbc overview article and it was so very sad. I can’t imagine what they’re going through.

So many men are such cunts, honestly.

I watched it. It was so sad, but just how brave are those two to speak so eloquently about such an appalling crime. It was incredibly moving and sensitively handled

Another man facing a life sentence this morning because he couldn’t bear the fact that his wife had escaped his violent clutches. Never ends.
