Does anyone go to the Budgens at Weston-Super-Mare airport roundabout (this is a long shot!)

I was in Weston Super Mare for a work conference. It is 190 miles from where I live, and so while I was at the Budgens at the airport roundabout I had to charge my car. It needed a full charge and so I was there for an hour but it has a 45 minute limit on staying, so I’ve got a parking fine.

I want to contest it on the basis of no clear signage, but can’t really drive 190 miles back to check what’s there! I know it’s a long shot but wondered if anyone was there anyway they might be able to take a photo of any signs? I would hugely appreciate it. I’m so cross. Surely charging a car isn’t parking?!

Can you go on street view ?

I know very little about e vehicles except what i read on here - but one thing that stuck with me is how strict the charging ports are about leaving within 5 mins of the charge finishing.

Thanks. Street view shows a sign, but it’s not placed with the charging points and I can’t see what it says annoyingly. I was actually charging the whole time and left as soon as it was done.

Which airport roundabout? Do you mean the one by the Helicopter Museum (rather than Bristol Airport?)

I may be able to go tomorrow, depends how smoothly the school run goes, but I will definitely be able to go over the weekend at some point.

Have a look here, there are some photos of a sign on there - it says 30 though not 45 mins. Local bone of contention and comes up reasonably regularly on the FB groups for surrounding areas . Really sorry this had happened.
