Looking to do more of this in my own life!
How do you like to celebrate the small wins in life?

Like what?

Princessfluffy · 26/06/2025 14:48

Mini successes in building a new business or side hustle, progress on personal projects eg decluttering, progress in improving my health and well being, handling a difficult interaction well, doing a task I didn’t want to do, all sorts of things really

Does anyone do this?

I don’t think I do tbh

I keep weekly, monthly and yearly trackers on a bullet journal.

Do you celebrate when you achieve the goals and mini goals?

I sort of do. I mean, I’m not cracking open the champagne every time I finish the ironing or anything, but I allow myself to enjoy praise at work (just in my head, of course. I’m very British about it in public). If I’ve spent ages cleaning & tidying then I enjoy sitting on the sofa and being happy at how lovely it all looks. If I’ve achieved something I’m proud of, I show my DH and enjoy him telling me how clever I am.

But I don’t set goals for myself. It’s much easier to see the little things as positives that way, rather than thinking about all the things you wanted to, but didn’t achieve.
